Dr. Ray Mulry

Ray Mulry, Ph.D.

Knowing stress and tension management skills play a significant role in our ability to meet life challenges, Ray first authored Tension Management & Relaxation. Later in his career, along with orthopedic surgeon, Arthur White, M.D., and Physical Therapist Bill Mattmiller, he published The Back School and 12-Steps To A Pain Free Back. These publications led to Freedom From Stress & Back Pain and later to Watch Your Back! First Aid for Back Pain, In The Zone: Making Winning Movements Your Way of Life, Teeing Off With The Masters: A Sport Psychology Novel and Trust Your Swing: The power of the Pendulum and Rhythmic Flow Audio CD, coauthored with Canadian Film Composer, Karl Mohr.

Ray has held faculty positions in the Clinical Psychology graduate training programs at the University of Texas at Austin and Indiana University in Bloomington, and was a member of the allied medical staff of the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. He has authored numerous scientific articles and addressed a wide variety of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Risk Insurance Management Society and the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Barbara George

Barbara George

Barbarra has continually demonstrated high levels of academic and sports excellence, including several first place Jr. Olympic Swimming Championships and the LDB Handley Award, the highest honor for achievement and excellence from the Women's Swimming Association (WSA). Barbara was New York State Champion in the 200 & 400 meter freestyle and individual medley and competed successfully in the US Nations. These and numerous other records earned her membership in the Metropolitan Swimming Hall of Fame.

Born in Manhattan in New York City, Barbara attended Hunter College Elementary School for the gifted and graduated from the distinguished Bronx School of Science. Following graduation, she accepted a full academic and athletic scholarship at New York University in the School of Engineering, integrating her love for the water, swimming and science in the study of oceanography.

Barbara is trained in classical ballet, acrobatics, jazz and tap, and reads, writes, and speaks Greek and French.

Family is an important aspect of Barbara's life. She is a life-long learner and avid reader who enjoys travel, hiking, skiing, cooking, while directing In The Zone Coaching/Training for Elite Performers In The Zone in Lake Tahoe..
